Border and Pirates will contest next week’s Tasman Tanning premier club rugby final.

Integrity Motors Pirates and PGG Wrightsons/Balance Taihape produced perhaps the match of the season with the city side edging the impressive visitors 25-24 in their semi-final at Spriggens park this afternoon.

Meanwhile at Dallison Park, Waverley Harvesting Border finally got over the semi-final hurdle in comfortably beating last year’s finalists McCarthy’s Transport Ruapehu 34-13.
